In your new role your tasks are:
  • Project Management for development of new IP modules, at target cost, timeline, as well as performance and project feasibility
  • Project team organization in an international and cross-site environment
  • Planning, monitoring and deviations management; risks management
  • Responsibility for achievement of project compliance according to IFX ATV design processes, ISO 16494 and ISO 26262 where applicable
  • Project status reporting (steering committee, project reviews, board), escalation of risks and decisions to Project Owner, preparation of change requests (change of scope, timeline and/or budget violations) together with Project Owner
  • Ensure positive and smooth interactions in the project team, keep motivation high, ensure hurdles are promptly addressed, and issues are openly discussed
  • Mentoring of other Project Managers, best practice and lessons learned sharing within the organization
  • Active contribution in development of methodology

You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation and recognize and use different areas of expertise and skills of the team members.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project Management in the semiconductor industry or related fields
  • A customer-oriented team leader with broad engineering experience in developing microelectronic products
  • Strong problem-solving ability and negotiation skills, as well as a good sense of pragmatism and cost-awareness
  • Working experience across different locations and with intercultural teams is a desired plus
  • Experience in planning, reporting and managing projects is expected
  • Experience with Functional Safety is desirable
  • Negotiable skills in English; German is a plus
