Our Oilfield Services Team is assembling and testing the latest products of oilfield equipment which is beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.

The Drilling Services group is looking for a Lead Electrical Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Lucida Central Service Delivery team. This will be a unique opportunity to join a cross discipline team working with state-of-the-art technologies in the energy development industry. This position involves full exposure to development, testing, deployment, and analysis of new components and complete systems for harsh environment operations

As a Lead Engineer - Reliability (m/f/d) you will be responsible for:
  • Leading in Incident Investigation, ensuring the end-to-end process is considered, when determining incident root cause(s) alongside appropriate corrective actions
  • Evaluating system and component performance in their application. Monitoring for trends and initiating actions accordingly to improve reliability and durability
  • Supporting new product development in all aspects relevant to reliability engineering, through direct liaison with engineering and the deploying region
  • Optimizing design concepts to meet performance/reliability requirements and cost targets utilizing advanced simulation tools for functional as well as survivability evaluation
  • Contributing to development of test plans and collaborating on execution of tests at a system level or component level
  • Collaborating with engineering department in design reviews and bench mark studies
  • Acting as a subject matter expert communicating with maintenance locations worldwide as well as with internal and external customers
  • Travelling to major maintenance facilities supporting failure analysis and introduction of new services

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have successful completed your Bachelor studies in Electrical Engineering or in an other relevant subject
  • Have excellent leadership, deep interpersonal, influencing and planning skills
  • Have good experience in analogue and digital circuits and systems
  • Have knowledge of the technology of electronic components and sensors
  • Have knowledge in the area of measurement and control engineering
  • Have good experience in handling modern electronic laboratory equipment
  • Have excellent problem solving skills with respect to Applied Electronics, Engineering Design, and Technology Development
  • Have good written and verbal English skills for working in an international diverse working environment and strong interest in working with other cultures
