£35000 p/a Pertemps are looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to join an experienced team and provide a link between various areas of our client's corporation, the plant and its customers. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, good engineering knowledge and experience of working in a team environment.Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate with customer & sales team to interpret customer & application requirements and clearly define relevant application data.
- In liaison with the appropriate engineering team select products & develop solutions & proposals of primarily mechanical products to satisfy customer application requirements.
- Commercially cost & prepare proposal of these solutions to point of negotiation by sales / commercial team Cost estimation
- Ownership of internal sales process and tools (Sales Force).
- General liaison with engineering team for each product, drawing updates.
- Lead the Change Management process.
- Pricing control.
- Input into profitability activities.
- Component re-sourcing support.
- Contract reviews, technical handover to quality, purchasing and production teams & project kick-off meetings to ensure the specification is correct prior to supply.
- Specific projects as required.
