My client, a renowned logistics company, are looking for an enthusiastic and a self-driven HR Advisor with a can-do attitude, to provide generalist HR support, guidance and expertise to a variety of operational and functional managers across multiple sites. With sound knowledge and experience of best practice in core HR including recruitment and selection, absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance and the basics relating to TUPE and redundancy, you will be responsible for supporting a fast paced, ever -changing business and its managers and staff. You will also be involved in cross-company projects and global group initiatives. Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide support, coaching and training to Line Managers in areas such as Recruitment and Selection, Disciplinary, Grievance and Conflict Handling, Communications, Absence Management.
  • Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge.
  • Support with the roll out and delivery of the annual performance Appraisal
  • Support with key initiatives e.g., improving the annual employee survey results.
  • Manage and develop and HR Assistant ensuring that Offers and Contracts are issued in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support with payroll changes
  • Keep abreast of Workplace legislative changes, providing guidance and support to senior stakeholders
  • Review and revise HR Policy and handbook updates/reviews to ensure compliance and best practice
  • Support with all recruitment activity and campaigns
  • Support with the roll out and delivery of the annual performance Appraisal

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Proven experience within a HR Advisor position / CIPD qualified
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Experience with TUPE transfers
  • Excellent skills at building successful relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in written & oral English
  • Accountability and ownership of workload
  • Team Player
  • Effective planning and organising skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Good communicator
  • Enthusiastic and self-driven
