We have an exciting opportunity for a Front Office Managerto join our highly successful team at our Ham Yard Hotel. It will be yourresponsibility as a Front Office Manager to oversee the day to day running ofthe Front of House department. You should be a strong people manager whoempowers staff and advocates personal growth and development whilst working toprovide an unforgettable personalised experience for each and every guest.

Working as part of the senior management team, youwill need to be ambitious and flexibleto adapt to a variety of scenario's and situations. You will be heavilyinvolved in people management; recruitment, training and employee relationsensuring the team are reaching their full potential and delivering a highstandard of customer service.

EssentialKey Skills

  • Previousexperience in a high end operation as a Front of House Manager or ReceptionManager
  • Ahands on approach and ability to assist with the daily operations
  • Theability to work well under pressure and in a busy environment
  • Excellentcustomer service skills and communication
  • Genuinepassion for the hospitality industry and desire to drive hotel's successforward
  • Strongleadership and motivational skills
  • Ahigh level of understanding of the current hospitality trends and who ourcompetitors are

Duties

  • Managethe financial aspects of the Front of House department including budgets &forecasting
  • Motivateand inspire the Front of House team
  • Managestaff development and conduct annual appraisals
  • Maintainand deliver consistent Firmdale standards
  • Produceweekly and monthly departmental reports for the Deputy and General Manager
  • Createstrong working relationships with colleagues and guests
  • Complainthandling
