We are delighted to be supporting an NHS organisation with their recruitment for an Employee Relations Advisor. The role will involve a mix of on-site and remote working. Key responsibilities will include: Delivering high quality HR advisory service to managers and staff, adding value and supporting the People Consultants in carrying out their professional and operational responsibilities; Providing at all times professional, HR expert advice, guidance and support to managers on the range of employment issues include redeployment, absence management, disciplinary, capability and grievance, bullying and harassment and general employee relations; Ensuring that advice and assistance to managers on staff-related operational issues is timely and accurate; Under the direction of People Consultants reviewing HR policies and procedures including equality impact assessments - supporting implementation and measuring effectiveness; Providing advice and support to managers to undertake investigations in accordance with policies and within relevant timescales; Providing support to managers and staff in relation to organisational change. The ideal candidate will have: CIPD qualification; Previous experience as a HR Advisor within the NHS is essential; Demonstrable experience of handling employee relations issues; Knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g. employment law, data protection; Awareness of HR policies and procedures and how these are applied within the NHS; Excellent communication skills and have the ability to deal with complex/sensitive situations and information which will require negotiation and persuasive skills.
