Coordinates site fundraising activities to include appeals, annual giving, grateful patient giving, special events, and the Aurora Partnership Campaign. Ensures donors stay connected with the institution and assists with solicitation activities under the direction of Foundation leadership. Responsible for achieving annual site goals by developing and executing fundraising strategies within the assigned geographic market.

Responsible for achieving annual site goals by developing and executing fundraising strategies within the assigned geographic market that affect the overall success of the Foundation. Coordinates and implements all aspects of the annual fundraising plan under the direction of Foundation leadership for fundraising priorities, inclusive of engaging committees/volunteers, special event coordination and soliciting support. Supports donor stewardship activities by ensuring each donor s gift is acknowledged, regularly follows up with the donor, and educates donors on the impact of their gift and how each gift contributes to developing programs and services at Aurora.

Serves as a Foundation resource for site leadership. Educates providers and staff on Foundation s mission and initiatives, and secures their assistance in the cultivation and solicitation of donor prospects or involvement in Foundation activities. Works independently with selected donor prospects to request financial support and steward their relationship with Aurora and the site. Actively engages with physician and administrative leadership to determine potential donor prospects with interest in supporting site funding objectives. Leads and supports any fundraising committees.

Serves as a visible representative of the AHC Foundation and Aurora Health Care within the assigned geographic market, and acts independently in promoting overall Foundation goals.

Degrees

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.

Required Functional Experience

Typically requires 3 years of experience in communications or marketing in a not for profit organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, The Raiser's Edge.Good verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to think analytically and strategically. Accurate data entry skills.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.
