My client is a successful organisation based in the Livingston area. They have an excellent opportunity for an experience Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. This role is office based, not working from home. Responsibilities will include: Ensure that Purchase Ledger is accurately maintained and process deadlines are met Ensure that suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms & conditions Providing purchase orders Processing invoices Payment runs Bank reconciliations Resolving queries both internally and externally in a professional, efficient and organised mannerTo be considered for this position, candidates must have the following background and skills: Previous experience in a similar role i.e. Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable Must have strong IT skills, including MS Excel and MS Word Able to use initiative, problem solve, complete own workload and work as part of a team Strong communication and organisational skills Must take a hands on approach and be a team player as working as part of a small team
